St. Regis Hotel chef Ken Nercessian started Kettle Corn NYC in 2004 with a popping kettle, a pop-up tent, and a dream. What began as a weekend venture serving street fairs and events in the greater New York City area has now grown into a busy online business, concessions at New York hotels, colleges and sporting arenas, and two food trucks serving up Kettle Corn NYC’s 15 hand-popped flavors to truck patrons in Albany's Capital District. 

The business moved its headquarters to the Capital District in 2020 during the pandemic and has continued to grow and thrive.
