From our first restaurant's opening in 2016 to our new restaurant in Albany, we have been evolving our craft. We've remained true to our roots. Each plate we serve is a testament to our commitment to Oaxacan cuisine. We create an unforgettable dining experience that makes every guest feel like they are in Mexico. The vibrant atmosphere once entering, hand-painted murals and carefully curated décor transport you to the colorful streets of Oaxaca.

At El Rancho, our journey began with a cherished dream and grew into a place where the flavors of Oaxaca come to life. Our chef, a native of Puerto Escondido trained in the culinary traditions of Oaxaca, brings time-honored family recipes to the table. The enchanting aroma of freshly baked pan dulce and cakes from our in-house panadero greets our guests each morning. 

From the very beginning, we, the owners, worked hand in hand with our chef to carefully craft the menu, bringing our best plates and creating new dishes that have a modern touch. Our collaboration allowed us to introduce exciting plates that honor tradition  and our commitment to sharing something special with each guest who walks through our doors.
